Team Tryouts
Tryouts will begin on September 8th, 9th, and 11th at 5PM, at Gilleland Creek Pool. A bus will be available to transport students from PHS to the pool after school at 4:45pm.
Please make sure to bring your own water, suit, goggles, and cap.
If you have not completed your physicals and athletic paperwork, you may not enter the water until you do so. Copies of those forms can be emailed to Coach Wuest [email protected]
Swimmers who have an official USA Swim cut under 30 seconds in the 50 Free are automatically eligible to join the team and are not required to attend tryouts. (Proof of time must be submitted to Coach Wuest)
For tryouts, the swimmer will need to complete a 50 freestyle in under one minute. Multiple tryouts are allowed if the time is not achieved on the first try.
If you are unable to attend tryouts the first week, you may attend any other afternoon that week.
